Entertaiment is a broad term for the pleasure, amusement and recreation that people enjoy. It includes art, culture and games. The use of technology alters the availability, cost and variety of entertainment products, but forms such as storytelling (including the professional practice of Scheherazade), music, theatre and films are recognisably the same today as they were in earlier centuries.
